Best places Visit to Andorra

 Beauty in Andorra

Cosily located between France and Spain, and nestled in the snowy peaks of the Pyrenean Mountains, Andorra may be small but it is definitely worth a visit for those looking for premium skiing terrain, hiking opportunities, and lush scenery.

The capital Andorra la Vella has a vibrant arts and food scene, as well the largest spa complex in Europe and much of the rest of Andorra is made up of scatterings of picture perfect villages and towns set amidst a backdrop of spectacular vistas. Architecture lovers also won’t feel out of place here, as there are medieval and Romanesque buildings in abundance, many set on imposing hilltops or hidden away at the end of mountain lanes.

Perfect for exploring at your leisure in a bid to uncover as many hidden gems as possible long the way. Let’s have a look at the best places to visit in Andorra!

Valira d'Orient river in La Cortinada

While some of the best winter scenery in Andorra can be enjoyed on the ski slopes, the coming of snow adds another dimension to the country's prettiest towns and villages. A favorite winter sightseeing spot is along the Valira d'Orient river in the village of la Cortinada, when the fresh snowfallmakes the scene reminiscent of a Christmas card.

Sant Esteve Church in Andorra la Vella

Be sure to include Sant Esteve Church (Església de Sant Esteve) on your list of "must-shoots" in Andorra la Vella. This spectacular 12th-century medieval church is as photo worthy inside as it is outside, especially since it has been fully restored. The best time to capture the church in a photo is spring or summer when the surrounding flowerbeds and blooms are at their peak.

Northern Lights in Finland

 Northern Lights

In Finland, nature's most spectacular light show, the Aurora Borealis, can be viewed in a range of purpose-built spaces from glass igloos to luxury suites. The Northern Lights are visible on roughly 200 nights a year – or every other clear night – in Finnish Lapland.

For most people, seeing the Northern Lights is a once-in-a-lifetime treat. Finland is perhaps the top country in the world for seeing these blazing curtains of light drape across the sky.

Although, at times, the lights can be seen even in the southern most regions of the nation, the best place to see them is in the region close to or north of the Arctic Circle. Here, between September and March, visitors are almost guaranteed a show if the sky is clear.

A wide range of hotels in the north cater specifically to people wanting to see the lights.

Also, the Finnish Meteorological Institute allows you to sign up for free Northern Lights email alerts.

Must visit a smallest country of the world

 Vatican city

The smallest country in the world is Vatican City, with a landmass of just 0.49 square kilometers (0.19 square miles). Vatican City is an independent state surrounded by Rome. Vatican City is not the only small country located inside Italy.

The centerpiece of the Vatican and one of the best places to visit, the magnificent St. Peter's Basilica was built between the 16th and 18th centuries, replacing earlier structure's that began in 326 on what is thought to be where St. Peter was buried. Ironically, it was the selling of indulgences to finance this building in the 16th century that provoked Martin Luther to begin the Protestant Reformation. The work of famous artists begins before you enter the church: in the portico are an equestrian statue of Constantine by Bernini and fragments of a mosaic by Giotto above the main doorway. It's from the old church, as are the double bronze doors. The huge nave - 185 meters long and 46 meters tall - rises to a dome 119 meters above and can accommodate a congregation of more than 60,000.

Vatican City - St Peter's Church Map (Historical)

Built by Pope Sixtus IV in 1473-84, the Sistine Chapel is a rectangular hall, which is the Pope's domestic chapel, also used for services and special occasions. After the death of a Pope, the conclave to elect his successor is held here.
Museum
The Etruscan Museum, founded by Pope Gregory XVI in the mid-19th century, has 18 rooms of artifacts, which shed new light on the life of the Etruscans and their idea of the afterlife. Among the findings from the Etruscan graves that have been excavated throughout Tuscany are not just funerary items, but art works and objects from the everyday life of these enigmatic peoples.

Popular places in Natherland

 Don't miss to visit Natherlan

Haarlem

Often dubbed "Little Amsterdam," Haarlem has all the appeal of the capital city with none of the crowds. Make a point to visit Jopenkerk, a brewery housed in a converted fourteenth-century cathedral

Located about 20 km west of Amsterdam, on the banks of the River Spaarne, Haarlem is the capital of North Holland and the city with the highest concentration of museums in the Netherlands.

The Hoge Veluwe National Park

Covering an area of 5,400 hectares in the province of Gelderland, Hoge Veluwe National Park is one of the largest and most varied nature reserves in the Netherlands. Home to interesting wildlife and geographical formations ranging from rolling sand dunes to dense woodlands, the park is a wonderful example of what can happen when sport, art, and culture meet unspoiled nature.
This park is one of the largest in Holland, and within its 13,343 acres, counts rare wildlife, some of the most iconic buildings in the Netherlands, and the Kröller-Müller museum, which showcases a collection of nineteenth and twentieth century art in addition to the largest private collection of Van Goghs. Zoom around on a (free) white bike—the park has 1,800 available for rent

When travellers visit the Netherlands, more often than not, their first port of call is Amsterdam. A lot of these visitors, sadly, don’t go much further than that, and end up missing out on a wealth of history, landscapes, experiences and, of course, some of the most beautiful cities in the Netherlands besides the capital.
With this in mind, I wanted to put together a post that shows everyone that there is a lot more to this fascinating country than Amsterdam. So I’ve asked a bunch of expert travel bloggers to let me know what they thought the top cities in the Netherlands were and here is the result. This selection has certainly made me want to start planning my next visit to the Netherlands.

Amazing places Visit to Belgium

 Full of Beauty

Visit to Belgium

Belgium is a small country with a big personality. This kingdom in western Europe is an underrated travel destination. But don’t let the size fool you as Belgium has a ton to offer. And we’re not just talking about the food – although hello, fries, chocolate, waffles, and beer!

Whether you are looking for art and culture or an adventurous outdoor experience, Belgium has something for everyone. From elegant cities to charming little towns, and from sandy beaches to rugged mountains, you are spoiled for choice when it comes to picking your itinerary.

With so many gorgeous views and exciting spots to choose from, where do you even start? That’s why we picked the ten most beautiful places to visit in Belgium to help you plan your next trip.

Brussels is not only the capital of Belgium but also the de facto capital of Europe. It is the seat of many important European organisations. As a result, Brussels is an incredibly international and multicultural city. Politicians and diplomats from all over the world have made it their own and turned the town into a bustling metropole. But while Brussels is known as a city of bureaucrats, it is also a popular tourist destination.

As we get to some of the lesser-known cities in Belgium, Mechelen is a personal recommendation. It is a lovely little city with a beautiful historic city centre. The short distance to Antwerp makes it a great spot for a day or afternoon trip.

Upon entering the inner city, your first stop is the Grote Markt. This charming market square is lined with landmarks like the City Hall and many cute cafes. Mechelen is filled with Medieval architecture and churches, of which the Cathedral is the most impressive. The unfinished belltower offers a great view of the city. It is also worth taking a stroll along the canal and trough the Begijnhof and its many courtyards. Art lovers will enjoy a visit to the City Museum in the Hof van Busleyden.

 The Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China is an ancient series of walls and fortifications located in northern China, built around 500 years ago. Estimates of its length vary from 1,500 to 5,000 miles, but an archaeological survey carried out in 2012 by China’s State Administration of Cultural Heritage suggested the wall is more than double than that length: some 13,000 miles – or 21,000km – long…

How much do you know about the Great Wall of China? Why was it built, are there bodies buried in it, and can you really see the Wall from outer space? John Man, author of The Great Wall of China, separates facts from fiction…

It was Robert Ripley, the American illustrator who made a fortune with his cartoon feature Believe It Or Not!, who called the Great Wall “The mightiest work of man – the only one that would be visible to the human eye from the Moon”. This statement was, of course, founded on no evidence at all, since it was made 30 years before anyone had been in space.

Did you know?

Sections of the Great Wall owe their longevity to a rather unusual mortar – glutinous rice flour. Just as strong and waterproof as cement, this ‘sticky rice’ sealed the bricks so tightly that weeds are unable to grow between them

Sugar Loaf Rio de janeiro in Brazil

 Sugar Loaf, Rio de   Janeiro

Sugar Loaf, Rio de Janeiro

The easily recognized emblem of Rio de Janeiro, the rounded rock peak of Sugar Loaf juts out of a tree-covered promontory, rising 394 meters above the beaches and city.

Its summit is one of the first places to visit for tourists, for views of Rio and the harbor, and for the thrill of riding suspended in a cable car between Sugar Loaf and the Morro da Urca, a lower peak from which a second cableway connects to the city.

Rio's first settlement began below these peaks, near the long Praia da Urca beach, and you can tour one of the three early forts there, the star-shaped Fort São João.

Sugar Loaf, Portuguese Pão de Açúcar, landmark peak overlooking Rio de Janeiro and the entrance of Guanabara Bay, in southeastern Brazil. Named for its shape, the conical, granitic peak (1,296 feet [395 metres]) lies at the end of a short range between Rio de Janeiro and the Atlantic Ocean. At its base is the fortress of São João. A cable car runs from its summit to the adjacent Urca Hill, near the foot of which is the site of the Praia Vermelha Campus of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

Famous tropical paradise great attraction for tourists

 Raja Ampat

 Island

Raja Ampat

With one of the liveliest underwater scenes on the planet, this world-famous tropical paradise is home to over 530 species of coral, 700 species of mollusk, and 1,300 types of fish.

Despite the magnetism of exotic species and a breathtaking island view, Raja Ampat remains largely pristine because of its remote location and vast locality.

More than just a divers’ paradise,Raja Ampat also makes an unforgettable destination for birdwatchers, photographers, adventurers, and even those who long for a luxury vacation with an amazing view in a faraway island.

The sparsely populated Raja Ampat Islands comprise more than 1500 islands just off Sorong. With their sublime scenery of steep, jungle-covered islands, fine white-sand beaches, hidden lagoons, spooky caves, weird mushroom-shaped islets and pellucid turquoise waters, Raja Ampat is without question one of the most beautiful island chains in the world.

Famous Visiting place of Burlin

 Berlin's

Brandenburg

Gate

The Brandenburg Gate

Berlin's most famous historic landmark is the Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor), once a symbol of a divided nation and now a symbol of unity and peace. This Neoclassical gate was commissioned by King Frederick Wilhelm II in 1788, and its design was inspired by the Propylaea in Athens' Acropolis. The sandstone monument is 26 meters tall, standing in the Mitte district's Pariser Platz, just a block from the Reichstag building.

During the Cold War, its physical and symbolic position as a blocked gate along the Berlin Wall made it a frequent site for demonstrations by West Berliners, and it is famous for being the backdrop of US President Ronald Reagan's 1987 entreaty to Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev to tear down the wall.

It was also the scene of a poignant gesture when German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Russia's Mikhail Gorbachev, and Poland's Lech Walesa walked through the gate in 1999 to commemorate the tearing down of the Berlin Wall 20 years earlier.

Thailand beautiful Railay Beach

 Railay Beach

Railay Beach

Krabi province is home to some of Thailand's most famous beach destinations—and Railay tops the list as one of the most stunning. Considered by many as one of the best beaches in the country, Railay delivers on promises of white sand, turquoise-blue water, and the feeling that you've found a slice of paradise even before your feet touch the sand.

The island can be reached by boat from Krabi town and Ao Nang—and the trip on a long-tail traditional boat is just as magical as what you'll encounter when you reach the shores.

Among the many other active things to do, Railay is well-known for its ocean rafting and kayaking, snorkeling and scuba diving—but visitors can also try their hand at cooking classes or indulge in a massage.

There's also the tourist-friendly Diamond Cave, reached via a beautiful trail with stunning views and ready to accommodate curious visitors looking to do some exploring between stretches of sunbathing.

Golden State Alcatraz island

 Alcatraz island

Tours of Alcatraz will resume on Mar. 15, 2021. Be advised that not all parts of the island and the historic facilities will be accessible to visitors.A mile and a half from Fisherman's Wharf, Alcatraz was the site of the first lighthouse built on the Pacific Coast, then a federal prison for such notorious convicts as Al Capone. Now it is one of the city's most popular attractions.

Alcatraz was the site of the first lighthouse in the Western United States but became a federal penitentiary from 1934-1963, housing famous convicts such as Al Capone and George "Machine Gun" Kelly. Now, this once infamous prison island is part of the Bay Area’s 80,000-acre Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

Located one-and-a-half miles from Fisherman's Wharf, Alcatraz is one of the city's most popular attractions. A visit to the island includes a tour of the cell house where visitors can see where the prisoners lived.

Although the last inmates were transferred off the island in 1963, the main prison block with its steel bars, claustrophobic (9 x 5-foot) cells, mess hall, library and "dark holes," where recalcitrant languished in inky blackness, is still structurally intact.

Tunnels of love in Ukraine

 Tunnels of love

This beautiful natural train tunnel is said to grant the wishes of visiting lovebirds.

JUST OUTSIDE THE CITY OF Klevan in Ukraine, a nearly two-mile stretch of private railway has turned the surrounding trees into an enchanting natural tunnel.

A train transporting wood to the nearby fiberboard factory runs three times daily. Otherwise, the railway tracks through the tree tunnel make for a lovely stroll for couples and singles alike. The romantic setting earned this stretch of track its nickname, the “Tunnel of Love.”

It’s also called the Green Mile Tunnel, for the bright leafy branches that arch over the railway.
The tunnel is at its lushest during the spring and summer when the trees are at the peak of their leafiness, but the colorful foliage of fall and snow-covered branches of winter make for captivating sights as well.

Local legend has it that couples who visit the tunnel will be granted a wish, provided their intentions are sincere.

The Tunnel of Love is a section of industrial railway located near Klevan, Ukraine, that links it with Orzhiv. It is a railway surrounded by green arches and is three to five kilometers in length. It is known for being a favorite place for couples to take walks.
